I ALWAYS USE VOLVO GENUINE, WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE AFTERMARKET PARTS LIKE?
The majority of our aftermarket parts are supplied from Swedish Lorry Parts (SLP), with a global reputation for high quality. Swedish Lorry Parts provides aftermarket parts to suit all Volvo construction machines. SLP started in 1972 in Sweden, with a focus on Volvo aftermarket parts for cars, trucks, buses and construction equipment and now are available in over 70 counties around the world. Further to this many of the aftermarket parts sold that are not SLP branded are Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and are essentially the same part as Volvo Genuine.
WHAT WARRANTY DO I GET FROM SOURCE MY PARTS?
All parts sold by Source My Parts are covered by a “12 month warranty” from date of invoice. (please see terms and conditions for further details).
IF I USE MANN + HUMMEL FILTERS ON MY MACHINE, IS MY MACHINES COMPONENTS WARRANTED?
Based on the acknowledged high quality standard of MANN+HUMMEL manufacturing and products, Mann + Hummel make the following promises:
- We investigate claims carefully and quickly.
- We warrant that all products manufactured by MANN+HUMMEL are free of material and manufacturing defects when used properly and operated in accordance with the defined conditions.
- Our warranty is valid for 12 months from installation of the replacement part and/or on the expiration of the operation period recommended by the vehicle/engines and/or equipment manufacturer (whichever comes first), or in any event, after 18 months from delivery to our customers.
The MANN+HUMMEL product warranty includes reasonable cost reimbursement in the case of engine damage caused solely and directly by a MANN+HUMMEL product defect. If, despite our comprehensive quality assurance measures, a detective MANN+HUMMEL manufactured part should come into circulation, we accept liability for direct, immediate damage to the delivery item in accordance with the legal conditions and product liability according to product liability legislation. We do not accept liability for any other type of damage or for subsequent damage/costs.
The prerequisite for a warranty and/or liability claim includes adherence to the prescribed or recommended installation/maintenance and exchange instructions of the part of the vehicle/engine and/or equipment manufacturer.
